Linking to the entire view of ebook

Step 1

Search the library catalogue for the ebook.

Step 2

Copy the link by right clicking 'Connect to ebook' and selecting 'Copy shortcut' (as shown below).

Step 3

Paste the link in the required destination (do not paste the link in to MS Word as it will not work - if you need to paste it somewhere temporary, use Notepad), for example

When users click on the above link, they will need to then sign in via Athens (Select Login / Institutional Login. Then click the Athens Login page link, and sign in via Athens).

 

Linking to a specific chapter in an ebook

Step 1

Search the library catalogue for the ebook.
https://capitadiscovery.co.uk/newman-ac/

Click to connect to the ebook.

Step 2

If you are off campus you will need to sign in via Athens (Select Login / Institutional Login. Then click the Athens Login page link, and sign in via Athens).

Locate the chapter you require - click on the chapter title to view the chapter details page.

Step 3

Copy the URL in the address bar (as shown below).
