To this:
https://go.openathens.net/redirector/newman.ac.uk?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.dawsonera.com%2Freadonline%2F9786000000004%2FstartPage%2FPAGE

https://go.openathens.net/redirector/newman.ac.uk?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.dawsonera.com%2Freadonline%2F9786000000004%2FstartPage%2FPAGE
To this:
https://go.openathens.net/redirector/newman.ac.uk?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.dawsonera.com%2Freadonline%2F9786000000004%2FstartPage%2F25

Notes on adding page numbers:

  • There may be unnumbered pages at the beginning of the book so when creating links, you will need to account for the pages which come before page one (shown as "-" in the read online view). In the example above, there are 14 physical pages before page one, so everything will need to be plus 14 - therefore by putting 25, we are directed to numbered page 11.
  • Alternatively, if there are quite a few unnumbered pages, that you do not wish to count, put a rough estimation of what you think the page number may be. Test the link in your browser to see which page loads, and go back and alter as necessary.

Please do not:

  • Copy links straight from Dawsonera (as these links will not work off campus).
  • Copy and paste content from ebooks into Moodle - this is outside the terms of our license with Dawsonera.
