british psychological society accredited course

Study human behaviour on a Psychology programme that’s ranked in the top 10 in England and in the top 20 in the UK (National Student Survey 2022). With small class sizes we can provide a high level of support. Your psychologist supervisor can help you find work experience and skills in the areas you’d like to start a career in – from mental health care facilities and charities to schools, prisons and police services.

Our undergraduate degrees are accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), ensuring high-quality teaching and resources. And as long as you gain at least a Lower Second Class Honours Degree you’ll be eligible for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) with the BPS, which is your first step towards becoming a professional psychologist.

Our Psychology degrees at Newman University, Birmingham will provide you with a solid grounding in all core areas of psychology, with some degrees specialising in certain areas. You can also choose to study psychology alongside another subject entirely as part of a joint honours degree.
